Good Afternoon,
Well the first of the month has came and gone so now it is time for a revenue review. To keep the site’s growth public I post these monthly reviews to have a living history and to graph where we’re at. Keep in mind this is only the second monthly review as the site just launched on 10.03.08. Read the October Revenue Review .
So now on to the nitty gritty in the previous article I stated a couple goals that I wanted to achieve by 02.01.09, the first being to double adsense revenue and the second to triple feed subscriptions. I think we are well on the way. Our feed subscriptions have doubled since the last post as you can see in the snapshot below.
So with double the subscriptions in a month’s time I feel that the goal of tripling in 3 months is very doable.
Now on to the money. This why you guys are really here. Recently I removed the ttz and bidvertiser ads for the last 60 days they claim I haven’t had a single click, while this may be true, I kinda find it hard to believe that my readers are not clicking. Who knows though. Once I get more solid traffic maybe I will try to re-implement those ad networks.
For the month of Oct. Contentpig grossed $29.35 from Google Adwords, so how’d we do in Nov. Not too bad we earned a couple more bucks but nothing too serious. Check out the snapshot below.
The hard number is I generated only $4.00 more dollars; however, page impressions were halfed while clicks were doubled. It would seem as though the ads have become less profitable and more targeted. Very interesting.
Being that I’ve been live for two months now, and actually have quite a few posts I will try to implement some of the yahoo ad network and we’ll see what those guys can do.
