XR.com kills TinyURL

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Well as you can probably guess this post is basically a review for XR.com. What XR.com does is shorten your url into a much smaller url. For Instance I took my Google Optimizer Post which is normally 78 characters and shrunk it down to xr.com/opt which is only 10 characters.

Now XR.com has an advantage to start it’s domain is only 2 main characters, so you can see it is already beating tiny url. XR.com also give you the ability to customize your new url using 3-50 characters. XR.com is completely free and is constantly being improved by interaction with it’s users.

XR.com is the free tiny url service used exclusively by www.contentpig.com.

Now you would think that would be enough to get you to use XR.com but guess what: These guys rock through the help of John Chow’s users they are sponsoring a $6000 contest with $5000 going to the charity of the winners choice. If I were to win I would be donating the $5000 to Fisher House . Being a former MARINE I thought this would be the best fit. Now for the $1000 dollars for me I think I would purchase a large format printer so I could print more stuff for my brothers printing company. Thank you John Chow and XR.com
