This flowchart offers tips on how to set up a pay per click search engine marketing campaign.
* Many of the boxes are clickable, and link off to useful tools or content that add further explaination.
* This advice assumes you start with an account on Google.com, and then take the best parts and syndicate them to Yahoo! and Microsoft. In some cases you might have more profit margin on the other search engines than on Google.
* You do not need to do every option on each line, they are just tips and ideas that should work in many cases.

Google’s New Smarter Sitemap Generator
The Google Webmaster Central blog announced that they have just released a new Sitemap generator that works on both Linux/Apache and Microsoft IIS Windows-based servers. The Sitemap generator is different and possibly smarter than other Sitemap tools because it uses web traffic, log files and other methods to find new or modified URLs. You can download the new tool over here.
Why go through the process of setting up a Sitemap file? Well, Google themselves said on the Sitemap Generator page, “you are more likely to get better freshness and coverage in search engines” if you submit a Sitemap to Google. Plus, there are somereports to validate that claim.

Google released a new keyword tool tonight, named the Search-Based Keyword Tool. This tool goes beyond what the other Google tools provide and tells you what keywords you are currently missing out on based on search query data from your site’s content.
